Thank you so much for everything that you did yesterday to make the anniversary lunch for my parents such a success. Everyone had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the serving team were really helpful. We have had lots of compliments on how perfect the venue was for the event, and how excellent the food was.

I should be writing a proper thank you letter, David, but while the rest of the household is still slumbering I thought it was a good opportunity to email you. Gets there quicker than a letter!! Thank you SO much for the really wonderful party you gave me last night...it was perfection from beginning to end!!! Yummy canapes and champers in the very atmospheric surroundings of the candlelit mill, followed by a truly delicious meal and wine. The dining room looked lovely and I knew I had made a good decision to come back to celebrate reaching my next decade with you!!! Bertie was fantastic wasn't he? All my family and friends had a great time, and October 13th 2012 is most definitely a date I will keep in my special memories. Many many thanks to you and Linda and all the staff, who contributed to the success of the occasion. I've been up since 6 trying to tidy the kitchen here, ready for the next lot of meals for the family today. Everything feels a bit flat! Like all good things, my birthday party had to come to an end, but WOW it was a good one!!

Once again David, THANK YOU to you both!!!! I know you will be back in the kitchen today and no time to rest, but hope you can put your feet up tonight!

Just to say a huge Thank You for another excellent evening at Haxted Mill yesterday. Shame the weather couldn’t have been better, but at least we got a bit of the Alfresco dining experience !

Dear David & Linda.

We were driving past and looking for somewhere to eat. We looked up details
of your restaurant on the Internet and decided to stop. We didn't have a
booking but you were able to provide us with a table immediately.
We are so pleased that you did. The surroundings are lovely. The food was
superb. The wine list was quite varied with a good selection of wines. The
service was excellent with very pleasant staff.
We would highly recommend that others stop here.

Hi David

Thank you so much for a truly excellent meal on Sunday and making us all feel so welcome and at home. All our guests were full of praise for the most delicious salmon so perfectly cooked, the lovely dessert, and the unobtrusive but excellent service. They also of course loved the setting and the whole day was a great success. It was an occasion that we will all remember and treasure, especially with Douglas living so far away.

Thanks you so, so much for my wonderful birthday party. Everyone in our group of 21 had a fabolous meal and enjoyed the wonderful location. We all wanted to take Molly home. I just wanted to say thank you for all you both did to make my lunch party the success it was. It was a good decision to eat inside as it was a bit chilly, but it was perfect having drinks and coffee on the terrace where it is so attractive. Everyone remarked on the food, how good it was and how beautifully presented, the serive was also excellent. I feel a bit deflated now and wish we could have it all again.

This is just to thank you for giving us such an excellent setting and delicious meal on the occasion of Debbie´s 50th birthday. It is something we shall remember with pleasure in years to come. Looking forward to visiting the Mill again before too long,

Just a quick note to thank you both for making my husband philips birthday meal on 4th June so special. Everyone said how much theo enjoyed their meal and how beautiful the setting was.
